FIN Trade is a non-custodial interface to public markets: the XRP Ledger DEX/AMM, third-party swap venues (Ethereum, Base, Solana), and Polymarket prediction-market odds surfaced through a peer-to-peer offer board. You are responsible for every transaction your wallet signs and every offer you post or take. FIN provides information, quotes, and interaction points; it does not give financial advice and does not guarantee any price, quote, or outcome.
Non-custodial — FIN never holds your funds
FIN holds no keys, no funds, and no balances, ever. Every order, swap, and payment is signed by your own wallet and either submitted directly to the XRP Ledger or, for a P2P wager, coordinated between you and your counterparty for direct settlement after resolution. FIN is never the counterparty and never takes directional risk. FIN takes a fee only at the point you execute or settle a transaction (a disclosed take-rate shown on the quote before you sign) — never by holding or touching your balance.
Hot-wallet risk — this is browser software, not a hardware wallet
The in-app wallet is a hot wallet: your private key is generated in this browser and encrypted into a local keystore with a password only you know. FIN never sees your key or your password. There is no account-recovery flow — if you clear this browser's storage, lose this device, or forget your password, the ONLY way back is your saved recovery secret (family seed) or your downloaded encrypted keystore file, restored by hand-typing the seed or re-importing the keystore. Treat the hot wallet as a bounded spending wallet — fund it only with what you're willing to keep exposed in a browser, not your life savings.
Multi-venue, multi-chain, and market risk
Quotes are aggregated across multiple public venues and can move between the moment you see a price and the moment you sign — FIN enforces a slippage/guard-price floor on its own DEX and swap flows, but cannot control the liquidity, uptime, or behavior of a third-party venue or chain. Prediction-market wagers are speculative bets on real-world events decided by third parties (Polymarket and the underlying event) — you can lose your entire stake, and P2P settlement in the current tier is a direct wallet-to-wallet payment with no escrow or dispute resolution, so you are relying on your counterparty to pay as agreed.
P2P — maker & taker acknowledgement · version 2026-09-01
Peer-to-peer, at your own risk — both sides acknowledge this
Posting or taking an offer on the P2P odds board matches you directly with another member — FIN is never the counterparty, never holds either side's stake, and (in the current direct-settlement tier) does not sign or submit a transaction for you at the post/fill step. Settlement is a direct payment between the two matched wallets after the event resolves. There is no escrow and no dispute-resolution mechanism yet — each side is trusting the other to pay according to the odds and stake shown when the offer was matched. By posting or taking an offer, you confirm you understand and accept this.
